  • You can support our community of writers by donating to youth or adult programs, author readings, accessibility fund, administrative costs, or to reduce the tuition owed by a participant on a payment plan.
  • Donations can be made on a one-time or monthly basis.

  • The Scholarship and Bursary Program provides an opportunity for donors to make ongoing or one-time contributions to support writers attending Sage Hill’s programs.
  • Donors may donate to the general fund or may specify their preferences for their scholarship/bursary contribution.

  • Businesses and corporations can become partners of Sage Hill though sponsorship packages at different levels, as well as through in-kind donations.

If you donate by cheque or e-transfer, Sage Hill is not charged processing fees, which means that 100% of your donation goes to Sage Hill initiatives!

Sage Hill Writing is a registered charitable organization; donations are tax-deductible and receipts are available to all donors.

Your contributions help Sage Hill Writing continue to foster writing that matters.

Writers help to establish creative cities and communities. Since 1989, Sage Hill has grown into a community of over 1300 participants, who have gone on to publish more than 850 books after attending our programs!

The support we receive from partner organizations and businesses, alumni and community members also allows us to offer free workshops for youth every summer. The Sage Hill Teen & Young Writers’ Workshops gives young creative minds in Saskatchewan a place to explore their creativity and develop their skills in a supportive environment, and many past students have gone on to pursue further writing education, and publish their works.

Writing is often a solitary action. Sage Hill provides a forum for writers to enhance their skills and engage with the literary community. Thank you for supporting our mission!
