Emerging Writers' Workshop Application Package*

In a single document, please provide: a one-page letter of intent explaining your interest in creative writing, your current writing projects and where you are at with them, what would help to make you a better writer, and how you would like to achieve that outcome while at Sage Hill; a 5 page sample of your writing from a project you would like to work on at Sage Hill; and a literary resume, if you have one (this last item isn’t a requirement). If you are applying for a scholarship or bursary, also include a letter of application for the fund for which you are applying.

Poetry, Nonfiction, and Fiction Application Package*

In a single document, please provide: a brief letter outlining your writing project, including how you will work on it while at Sage Hill, where you are in the process, what you hope to achieve during your stay, and any other pertinent information; 12 pages of your writing, 5 of which are published (the remaining 7 can be works-in-progress that you would like to develop while at Sage Hill); a literary résumé or CV. If you are applying for a scholarship or bursary, also include a letter of application for the fund for which you are applying.

Playwriting Application Package*
